RenuHomes LLC was founded in 2007 just as the housing market started to decline. Then working in the corporate world, Michael Meuret took this economic situation as a calling. It prompted him to leave the corporate world and pursue his long-life passion of interior design and house remodeling.
Converting his passion into a career, Michael began to shape his business and was fully operating in early 2008 when he bought his first house in downtown Columbus, OH. His goal: revitalizing neighborhoods close to the city centers while providing a smart, hand-in-hand approach to home ownership.
Since then, numerous houses have gone through the hands of RenuHomes, making many happy home owners in Columbus and country-wide.
With just a handful of individual workers back then, RenuHomes has grown to work closely with a full team of trusted, quality contractors, which Michael considers as part of the company.

Neighborhood revitalization is our passion.
We love taking a rundown structure no one else really wants, and creating an awe-inspiring home. Our homes are meant to be lived in and cherished; they’re meant to create those experiences a buyer wouldn’t usually find on the market, nor necessarily look for on their own.
The work we do at RenuHomes changes neighborhoods. Our teams engage with the neighborhoods and become a part of those we work with.
We also purchase multi-units in neighborhoods in which we are expanding home ownership.We enjoy rentals just as much as home ownership. Renters will become home owners, and our products attract those who will become our future buyers.
We pay just as much attention to detail with rentals as we do with our retail products. Our management is streamlined and simple, making us a desired company to rent from.
